Utilizing the “Marketing Plan Grading Rubric” uploaded on the front EO page, plan to do your marketing plan. Please note that this is not a rubric for a "complete" marketing plan but instead you should focus on these specific areas in the rubric for your marketing plan. The assignment must follow (in order) the rubric. (i.e., under “Product and Company Background”, the order would include:
• History of the company, its products and services, etc. focusing on the new product.)
As a group, come up with an existing product (in the market for 1 year). The instructor must agree on the product/service. Please note that if you decide to proceed without prior approval, you may have to start over again. No X-Boxes, no cell phones, no plasma TV’s will be allowed…think outside the box! Projects will be given extra points for creativity!
The plan should be AT LEAST 10 pages of text (not including graphs, charts, images, etc) however, more pages are encouraged and illustrate greater effort thus ensuring a better grade. Projects will be given extra points for creativity! Group Marketing Plans should be uploaded individually into the EO course page under “Assignments”. Please be certain to include all group members’ names on the project so that all persons get credit. The MLA Style should be utilized for the paper component.
