Topic: Using .NET Resources to teach .NET
This project will use the .NET framework to produce a set of materials to demonstrate the fundamental principles of .NET. Ideally it should demonstrate some of the principles of the framework e.g. interoperability.
This project should create a number of teaching objects, as well as source files to allow people new to .NET to learn and understand the benefits derived from the use of the framework.
One example of a material would be an interactive tool to allow someone learning .NET to interact with a simple model of the virtual machine etc. It could also utilize mobile devices along with some server model.
It is envisaged that this project would involve some background work on the pedagogy of effective teaching of this type of material.
Initial plan
This project is to teach the .NET framework using the .NET resources by demonstrating the various principles and examples to teach, using several devices such as the mobile devices along with some server model. By doing this the benefits, advantages of using the framework will be appealing. The teaching enhanced learning technology displays a lot of benefits to this type of project because its a teaching platform.
Final specification
To be more specific on how interactive it would be , the application would be a demonstrative teaching style which would help student with the opportunity to reflect upon their knowledge through self assessment and quizzes given by the lecturer this would be an approach to evaluate the student learning abilities. Videos and audio would be uploaded which give examples of role playing examples for students or learners to understand from this types of media would be used as an asset to give demonstration to some of the principles of the framework for instance e.g. interoperability
Provide personal examples and model behaviour and analysis by incorporating audio or videos (hear some sample audio clips from our audio web page) or linking to samples or prototypes demonstrating the principles of .NET framework. Feedback will be provided to l enable students to evaluate their own performance for each step of the task.
