Suppose that you are in charge of a project to upgrade your company's software on a single platform. The members of your group have explained the existing system to an outside vendor; that vendor will design a system to meet your needs. Once the system is delivered, your group is responsible for uploading the data files and, with aid from the outside vendor, replacing the old system with the new. At this point you're waiting for the vendor to respond with the deliverable by a certain date. Then it will be your group's responsibility to upload the system and make it operational. Demonstrate your understanding of project monitoring principles using this scenario as a basis.
