Advertising plans have to follow the general marketing plan which often tries to predict how markets will change, evolve and perform in the future. Short term plans usually cover up to one year. Intermediate term plans may range from one to five years. Long term plans often cover five years or more.
In general, short term plans are more accurate and reliable than longer term plans. Discuss why you think that is the case. What could we do to make longer term plans more reliable?
