"Sarah" is a 20 year old college student who is dating a fellow student named "Brian" and states the following:

"My parent's are divorced and I am worried that the same thing will happen to me. I try really hard to make sure that Brian is happy, but my parents also tried really hard. I keep arguing with Brian because he goes out at night and won't tell me where he is going or what he is doing. Brian tells me I am stupid and should just deal with it. I just keep feeling worse about how i try to manipulate and control him. I have dated at least 3 guys prior to Brian and have had the same problem. I don't know what I want from a relationship. I think that's the problem
