Formula.  It is describing the oxidation (or burning) of octane (a major component in gasoline).  The result is the release of carbon dioxide and water.

2 C8H18(l) + 25 O2(g)  à  16 CO2(g) + 18 H2O(g)

Question #1:  If you started out with 10 moles of O2, how many moles of CO2 would you get if the reaction goes to completion?  How much is that in grams?
