The power output of a non-ideal gas turbine cycle having a compressor thermal efficiency of 80% and a turbine thermal efficiency of 90 %., open-cycle gas turbine cycle is 75 MW and its pressure ratio is 16. Air enters the compressor at 520 R and enters the turbine at 2800 R. Using constant specific heats at 1000 F: cp = 0.263 Btu/lbm-R and k = cp/cv = 1.353, find: (a) cycle thermal efficiency (b) mass flow rate of air.
