Evidence based practice (EBP) is the process by which nurses make clinical decisions using the best available research evidence.
The key steps in the EBP process are:
1. Framing the question
2. Finding the evidence
3. Assessing the evidence
4. Making the clinical decision
Understanding research concepts will assist you to develop the skills to integrate EBP into your own nursing practice.
