Palliative care is considered as one of the essential aspects of health care, which aims in improving the quality of patient wellbeing as well as the reducing the severity of symptoms (Tyler, Shield & Miller, 2015). The fundamental objective of maintaining the health care standards in a community are also included within the scope of palliative care.

This involves the consideration of physical, mental, and societal aspects. According to the definition of palliative care by WHO, it is the health care service that has the prime objective of efficient health restoration and management (Miller, Lima & Thompson, 2015).

Accordingly, reduction of sufferings, integrating cultural and spiritual standards of the patient, and making a clinical decision in parallel conjunction to patient consent is also included. Apart from this, supporting individual as well as their family in copping the situation, counseling, and providing education cum motivation is also key issues to take care of by the patient.
