Is the vasodilation of arteries on the heart stimulated by the parasympathetic nerves? Or does parasympathetic nerves only controls the heart rate. If not, then what regulates vasodilation? As in what part of the nervous system stimulates the release of hormones such as acetylcholine, nitric oxide and others that dilate the blood vessel?
