Students will be required to complete a written assignment on the following topic: Choose two different body systems that have been covered so far in this module (please use respiratory and integumentary systems) and, within each system, compare and contrast three disease states, with a view to recognising and managing them in clinical practice. Consider the diagnoses from a client's perspective and from that of the practitioner managing them. Develop a quick reference chart for each triad (3 disease states for each system) for use in clinical practice as a diagnostic, prognostic and therapeutic guideline with particular emphasis on red flag management. All references must be peer reviewed journal articles which can be found in google scholar. This is for a Health Science degree.
