1. Setting goals is important and most managers do it on a yearly basis. We set the years goals for our group and than onitor toward reaching those goals. Most of the time the goals are financial, growing by a certain percentage, year over year, and executing on the jobs, meeting commitments and schedules. I think setting the goals early in the year is important and gives the employees something to measure their performance against. What are your thoughts?
