Assessment Task - Group Project
Part A - Group Presentation
Students will form groups of 4-5 and will present an informative solution on a chosen management workplace contemporary challenge. The list of topics will be placed on iLearn by Week 3.
Please note:1. This is material is to be presented in a professional manner and NO NOTES are to be used in any shape or form; including smartphones and other technology etc.2. It is expected that presenters will be wearing smart professional attire, as if attending an interview presentation.3. Each group member is to be given the same presentation opportunity in respect to time and quality of material to be presented.4. It is imperative that group practice and preparation have been undertaken.
Each student group will notify their tutor via email the issue they have chosen and the name of their group members.Presentations in Weeks 9-11 will be allocated in class in week 7.The presentation will be based on sound academic research into current trends in corporate thinking and each group will provide recommendations for action.No student group will be allowed to undertake the same workplace challenge in the same lecture stream. This will be allocated on a "first nominated basis".
Part B Individual Self Reflection Paper
Write a 1000 word self reflection of the insight the student has gained from contributing to the Group presentation. Using a theoretical paper perspective of the student's own choosing, they will reflect on how does the contemporary issue impact on their future career expectations.

Please include the word count on the front cover, does not include reference list or appendices. 8. Ensure proofreading, editing, correct spelling and punctuation is undertaken. The report should be to a quality standard that you would submit to in your job portfolio 9. Do not use dot points. 10. Print on only one side of A4 paper, number every page and staple the Report for submission. Please do not use individual plastic page folders 11. Your Individual Self Reflection paper is to be answered in the following format and will be marked to the following criteria: 1. Written in a self reflection paper format 2. Type in 12 size font, one and a half spaced 3. Analysis and interpretation of research material 4. Evidence of extensive research (at least 3 references from business/ academic journals. 5. Logical and sound critique
