A molecule has an excited state electronic energy level that emits radiation of 1/λ = 360 cm-1 when it falls to the ground state. The ground state is non-degenerate and the excited state is doubly degenerate. Compute:

the ratio of the no of molecules in the excited state at the temperature of 213 K to the number of ground state molecules and  the percent of the excited molecules at 213 K.?
