Assignment: Film: Don't Panic - End Poverty

Your goal is to view the film and look for the economic content. Note the living conditions, infrastructure, references to money, clothing, food etc. Look for the economic theory. Provide a brief write-up of the film. Find an economic concept in the film and explain how a situation is related to economic theory. Essentially this write-up is for you to see how microeconomic theory is integrated into the films but not (likely) directly addressed.

Below are some economic concepts that we learned in the class so far,

3. Harrod-Domar model
4. Solow model
5. Inequality measures
6. Lorenz curve
7. Poverty measures
8. Macro-inertia, micro-inertia
9. Fertility choice, HD with population
10. Solow with population
11. Migration models, Poverty wages

Directions

Items 1-4 are to ensure I can read your analysis on my iphone.

1. The paper should have at least 1-1.5 inch margins

2. At least 12 point font

3. Times new roman characters or something similar

4. 1-1.5 line space .

5. This is not a research paper but if you do use any sources, be sure to cite them. How should you cite your sources? Any way you wish. Footnotes are fine or a proper reference page.

6. The analysis should NOT exceed 1 page. Charts, graphs, and references do not count in the maximum page total. There is NO page MINIMUM only a maximum number of pages. Please do not ask, "is this enough?" Your goal is to completely and fully answer the prompt. Again, there is no minimum number of pages for this anaysis.
