Suppose we have the following production system:

raw material -----> Machine A ----->   Machine B ----->   finished product

 

Each of finished products requires a unit of raw material. If raw material enters the system at a rate of 10 units per hour, what is the utilization of machine B. Note that, machine B does not process raw material, but it processes the work-in-process produced by machine A
