Fortunately the police apprehend Jigsaw two weeks later. But they also arrest you for killing the paralyzed man. b. Explain the doctrine of the double effect is in general terms. Then explain moral justification in general terms. That is, say what it means to morally justify something. After that, say why the doctrine of the double effect is thought to be a moral justification . c. there is three versions of the doctrine of the double effect in connection with Foot’s article; the first was the traditional version based on the distinction between oblique and direct intention, the second was proposed by Foot and based on the distinction between doing and allowing, and the third was proposed by Foot and based on the distinction between positive and negative duties.
