Feedback

Hi John,
Overall, good job on your Academic Plan draft.

Do you have additional coursework that you already have taken or need to take? You will want to include that in your final plan. You should be including at least 120 credit hours of coursework in your plan.

For your SMART goal--you may want to go back and review the announcement with links about how to write a SMART goal. All of the components from the SMART goal formula are included in one goal statement.

For example,
I plan to graduate from SNHU General Studies program with a concentration in Sports Management by July 4, 2017.
This has all of the components of the SMART goal within this one statement. For your final plan, see if you can revise your Personal/Professional goals into SMART goal format. If you have questions on this after reviewing the resources, let me know. This resource explains more about how to write SMART goal statements and provides a number of great examples at the end of it: https://www.uth.edu/dotAsset/9e70db2f-583f-4b82-b81a-92acf0ac3c3a.ukn

For your final academic plan, to make it a professional document, be sure to take out the prompts in the template that tell you what to include, such as the wording at the top: "This template should be customized....."
One area you missed in your draft that you must include in your final plan is to answer these questions about your concentration:
Provide a brief description as to why your chosen concentration is critical for meeting your personal and/or professional goals. Why this concentration and not others?

What particular advantages does this concentration offer?

You have a great start on a comprehensive academic plan!
Donna
