The purpose of this written project is for the student to proceed through all of the steps required in planning and implementing a major change initiative. Applying a major recognized theory of change (your choice however not the Kotter model from this class) students are to select a topic that is currently a challenge within their workplace (ideal) or to role-play a problem within a workplace where the student acting as the manager/leader is responsible for facilitating the change process. Students will provide an introduction and context to the organization, a statement of the problem, and explanation of the change theory to be applied, discuss and apply the necessary steps to facilitate the change initiative, described appropriate follow-up, and provide summary comments as a means of wrapping up the scenario.
