Section One - Executive Summary-

Outline the key findings, challenges, and recommendations in summary form (1-2 pages). This should include a strong use of terms learned in class (e.g. "competitive advantage").

Section Two - Introduction/Background-

Answer the questions:

When did they start/history?
What is their primary business? (and briefly describe the industry)
Who are its main competitors?
Be concise and precise. (don't copy/paste off its website or Wikipedia.)
Approximate page length = 1 page.

Section Three - Financial Analysis-

Choose and run one ratio from each of the four categories of financial ratios as described in the text and chapter 4 ppt (liquidity, leverage, activity, profitability). For each of the ratios:

• explain the purpose of the ratio, place the numbers into the equation and show the mathematical result,
• list industry averages as found in Ventureline and through other research
• calculate the ratios for the 3 most current years of the company,
• calculate the ratios for 2 top competitors for the most recent year,
• explain the condition of each of the ratios. (Rate A-F and explain)
• Also run a growth ratio for Sales and Net Income for the last two years. Compare this to the competitors.

Lastly, in your own words, give an overview of the financial health of the organization. Answer the question: "would you invest in this stock?"

Section Four - CPM. Perform a CPM Chart. Compare your company with two competitors using at least 10 critical success factors.

Section Five - EFE. Perform an EFE Chart with at least 6 opportunities and 6 threats.

Section Six - IFE. Perform an IFE Chart. List at least 6 strengths and 6 weaknesses.

Section Seven - SPACE Matrix. Perform a SPACE Matrix. Plot it.

Section Eight - QSPM. Perform a QSPM.

Section Nine - Best Solutions.

List what you believe to be the best 3 solutions/strategies. Rank order them.
Label each solution by its strategy name (ex: horizontal integration).
List the 3 pros and 3 cons of each strategy.
