The Challenger and Columbia incidents showed that NASA had a lack of quality control and managing their projects. NASA had a time schedule to get these projects done and rushed most of their projects without carefully looking them over for errors and organizing it well. There should’ve been a longer time frame, more communication, better quality control, and even funding which will have prevented these incidents from happening in the future. The lack of funding led to outsourcing materials and having less staff to make sure everything was running well and to make sure nothing went wrong. As funding reduced, the more incidents happened and NASA from there had to reevaluate how they ran their projects and add more staff to ensure success in future projects.
