Martin, a 41 year old Caucasian has two years of college and has been on the "graveyard" shift as a "sheet roller #3" for the past 12 years. Betty, who is a Hispanic 60 year old, has worked for the company as a "shift supervisor" in the cargo assembly line for 29 years. She has a Bachelor of Science degree with one year toward her Masters. Betty finds out that Martin is being paid more than she is. Assuming the information given, what additional factors might possibly bear on whether Betty would have (or not have) a claim against the company under The Equal Pay Act, and 2.
