A marketer has to understand the process a consumer goes though when making a purchase decision. Since products or services have to be tailored to fit this process. For example, if it is something that requires extensive decision making, the consumer will research the product. Thus, the marketer has to make sure the information needed is available to the consumer. We will be going more into this as our discussion starts. Let's start by discussing the stages of the consumer buying decision process. What are the stages? What is the purpose of each stage?
