Say that you know that the average amount of time that an adult can concentrate on reading a text is 30 minutes, and you want to test a manufacturer's claim to see if a new protein drink can make a significant difference in people's concentration. Therefore, you collect a sample of 9 subjects, give them each the protein drink, and discover that your sample has an average concentration time of 26 minutes, with a standard deviation of 6 minutes. 

Did the protein drink make a significant difference in their concentration time? 

Perform a t-test at = .05
