A machine is to be depreciated by units-of-production method. It is purchased for $25,000 and is expected to produce 100,000 units, then be sold at 20% of the purchased cost. If up to the end of the third year, the machine will produce 60.000 units and during the fourth year to produce 10,000 units, find the HV at the end of the fourth year.
