Labor laws, that is, laws that govern the relationship, and enforce standards of conduct, between employers and the employed, exist because frictionless economic efficiency can often operate to the disadvantage of the employed, even to the point of the violation of the basic civil rights of the employed. Expound on why labor laws exist and provide three (3) examples within an organization of how labor laws are used.

  • Literature Review: In this section, you should provide a critique of articles you researched on the topics presented. Specifically, you are conducting a mini-review of literature that will support your point of view.
  • Results of your Research: In this section, provide a brief description of what you learned in your research. Give specific thoughts.
  • Recommendations for future research: In this section, discuss the areas of research that need further examination. Include one or two items to consider.
  • Conclusion: Restate your thesis and summarize the main points of your paper. Do not introduce any new material in the conclusion that was not previously discussed.
  • References: You must always document the sources when you write a research paper. Remember, if you include a source in the reference list, it must be used as an in-text citation, and vice-versa.
