Maslow's theory of motivation suggests we all share a compelling need to "move up" - to grow, improve ourselves, and ultimately become self-actualized. Review the hierarchy, starting at the bottom with physiological needs and move upward through psychological needs to self-actualization. For this assignment, address the following: Is Maslow's hierarchy universal? Do you see it applicable in other cultures?
