Electricity is commonly traded at the California-Oregon border (COB) and Palo Verde (PV) in Arizona. Assume you take a sample of 100 daily electricity market closing prices (in $/megawatthour) from both COB and PV. The following are the summary statistics resulting from your sample:
COB PVAverage Price $200 $300Standard Dev. $100 $50Sample Size 100 100
Using the information above conduct a hypothesis test to determine if the average market price at COB is the same as the average market price at PV (Hint: You are looking at the difference in two means). Assume α = .05 and remember to clearly state your null and alternate hypothesis as well as your conclusion about whether or not the average prices are equal.
Find the margin of error for the 95% confidence interval used to estimate the population proportion.
Perform a proper analysis. Describe your null and alternative hypothesis, report the p-value. What is your conclusion?
Give a variable that could be used to stratify the population for each of the following studies. List at least four subcategories for each variable.
In this problem I am having an issue trying to determine what equation to use to solve. Is this a one or two way ANOVA or should I just use a z-test to solve?

Use a 0.05 significance level to test the claim that unfiltered king-size cigarettes have a mean tar content greater than that of filtered 100 mm cigarettes.
Find the probability using the Poisson distribution.
Determine the correlation coefficient. Is there a strong relationship? If so determine the line of best fit. Estimate what the sales should be for a 3000 square foot shop.
