Module SLP
POLITICS & LEGISLATION
For this module, your task is to apply what you have learned about the importance of politics and legislation in information security management to an information security issue of your choice. Such an issue can remain the same or be different from your chosen issue(s) in other module(s).
If you have your own experiences can come from your organizational work or from your personal life. If you don't have any experiences on this topic (which I hardly think so) or you think your experiences are not interesting enough, then find a public issue, interview people, or do some search on the Internet.
Please write a 2- to 3-page write-up titled:
Challenges and Solutions to Applying Politics and Regulations in ____________ (the information security issue of your choice)
Your paper should:
1. Introduce the information security issue.
2. Discuss in great depth the politics/legislation perspective in this issue.
3. Suggest solutions to address the politics/legislation perspective in this issue.
4. Discuss how the issue is addressed from an international perspective.
