Serial dilutions are not only for bacteria. They can be used for any reagent. Suppose that in an experiment it is necessary to add 0.01 micro grams of DNA to a tube. Suppose that the concentration of DNA you have is 1 mg/ml. Describe how you could add 0.01 micro grams to your tube if your pipette cannot pipette a volume smaller than 1 micro liter.
