We are analysing energy efficiency of four different cars, A (3.2 miles/kwh), B (42 mpg using Clean Diesel), C (22 mpg using corn based ethanol E85), and D (28 mpg using regular gasoline). Now accounting for all of the energy used, including extracting the oil and coal, energy used in producing the corn, etc., how much energy is used per mile?
