Examples of globalisation in the hospitality - refer to any hospitality sector you lke, reflecting on your Task 1.

Current environment - identify opportunities and threats for professionals and businesses, that stem from globalisation. What are the current trends in hospitality as a result of globalisation? What is the impact of globalisation on HRM?

What are the challenges for someone working as an International Manager within Hospitality? Reflect on managing guests, staff as well as working in a global environment.

Reflect on how you position yourselves in the golden hospitality industry: what is your personal five to ten years development plan. Identify your personal strengths and weaknesses (you may use materials from Work Based Learning module here), any previous work experiences and background (you may use first person in this part of your work). In this part you should refer to Hofstede's cultural dimensions and explain how would you tackle any issues arising from cultural differences in your career (prepare a bar-chart using the country comparison tool from Hofstede's website): i.e. if you were not to have an international career. you would still have to deal with international clientele - where would they be from. what would be the challenges and how would you deal with them. In this part you need to show your understanding and appreciation of Hofstede's dimensions.
