A particle of charge q > 0 moves in a uniform electric field E (under no external force) for a total distance dstarting from rest.

Suppose the field is varying according to E = (2/11)E0yj, where y is the vertical coordinate. The charge q travels from pointy1 to point y2, where the total travelled distance is still d. Find the potential difference that the charge traverses. In the end, assume that y1 = 0.

If the charge q = 3.45 C, distance d = 89 m and the field magnitude E0 = 25.8 V/m, how much work was done on the charge (in J) while it traversed the potential difference in part (b)?
