Reports are typically associated with data that is useful for meetings, shareholders and sometimes public information. Organizing the information to make it understandable is one factor to consider, however there are reports that are very tedious information such as financial, gains or losses and market trends.

I have personally been responsible for compliance reports, forecasting of sales, and tracking of open orders. Reports are useful tools that contain information to potentially build profits, improve business processes and to meet deadlines.
