Failure can force people to strive to do their best because they fear failure but, on the flipside, failure can cause people to avoid even trying in the first place.

There was an interesting quote written by Michael Jordan where he stated, “I’ve missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I’ve been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.”

So, is failure ever an option for you? When did you really fail, and what did you learn? How did you turn a failure into success?
