A solution of Na2SO4 is slowly added to a mixture containing 0.010 M of Ba(NO3)2 and 0.010 M Sr(NO3)2. Determine the concentration of SO42- necessary to precipitate BaSO4 and SrSO4. Which compound, BaSO4 and SrSO4, precipitates first? What is the SO42- concentration when the second ion begins to precipitate?

Ksp for BaSO4 is 1.1 x 10-10
Ksp for SrSO4 is 3.2 x 10-7
