CaCO3 can be roasted to produce CaO and CO2. This reaction is carried out in a flask connected to an open-end mercury manometer when the atmospheric pressure is 767 torr. If the pressure of the CO2 produced is 0.215 atm, determine the total pressure in the flask AND the height difference between the two arms of the manometer.
