The healthcare industry is dynamic. The landscape is constantly changing based on a variety of factors. These factors may be political, technological, legal, regulatory, experimental, etc. Because of this, healthcare managers must have the ability to examine trends. This analysis is particularly important when it comes to the law. Knowing what trends present what kinds of risks and how to manage those risks is important in effective management. This week discusses current trends as they relate to risk and examines strategies that may be used to mange the risk inherent within the trends.
