A photoresistor is connected series to a battery of 10 V with internal resistance of 5 Ohms. The ohmic resistance of the photoresistor changes by time through the day and expressed as:
RLDR=20-(10/t) . The output voltage from this system to a sensor is taken from the terminals of the photoresistor. Plot a graph of output voltage versus photoresistance( RLDR) and a graph of output voltage versus time.
A table of values of the normalized magnitude of the voltage phasor on the line as a function of position on the line, with the normalization done relative to the value of the voltage magnitude at the voltage maximum point on the line.
Find c > 0 such that the area of the region enclosed by the parabolas y = x^2 - c^2 and y = c^2 -x^2 is 30. c= 6. Find the area of the region bounded by the parabola y = 4 x^2, the tangent line to this parabola at (3, 36) and the x axis.
F = B'D' + A'B'C + ABC + CD' Draw a circuit for this function using only AND , OR, and NOT gates. The function calls for two 3-input AND gates and one 4-input OR gate. All you have available, however, are 2-input AND and OR gates
The tuning control is required to provide a uniform, linear change in frequency for a fixed rotation of the knob, e.g., 25 kHz per revolution at any operating frequency. You are considering three options for controlling the frequency
The source has an abc-phase sequence. At the wye-connected load, the phase-a voltage Va'n' has phase angle (theta)a'n' = 60 degrees and the phase impedance is (10 + j15) ohms. Further, the line impedance per phase is (1.1+ j1.5) ohms
(1) What is the difference between a series and a parallel circuit (2) How do you evaluate the total resistance of a parallel circuit
find the complete functions, p(t) and w(t) supplied by the element, not just a number, and graph p(t) and w(t). Choose appropriate intervals of time for your graphs. Assume that both v(t) and i(t) are zero for t
PLC 2 In a motor control system, one master stop pushbutton (Stop) is available for stopping the operation at any time. If the temperature switch (TSW) is closed, pressing the red pushbutton (RedPB) will turn on both motors M1 and M2.
Develop the pseudo-code below for a program that will retrieve 2 bytes (NUM1 and NUM2) from memory, determine which is closest to the numeric value 50, and indicate the result by setting a variable named "CLOSEST" to 1 (if 1st byte is closest) or ..
Convert the first-order Butterworth low-pass prototype, H(z) = 1 / s+1 to a digital IIR filter using impulse invariant method when sampling frequency is 1 Hz.
a. What is the range of the sensor voltage outputs initially and finally? b. What range of voltages would be expected to be measured 2 sec after the step change is applied?
Impulse Responses of LTI systems can be physically found by inputting \(x[n] = \delta[n]\)to the system and measuring the output. Assume that during the process, we inadvertently input\(x[n] = \delta[n] + \delta[n-1]\)
