Question- Product: 1-hexanol, Starting material: 1-hexene, Addition of: borane to starting material, Side product: 2-hexanol,

1) Markovnikov's rule states that the addition of H-X across a double bond occurs in such a way as to add the H to the carbon atom already possessing more hydrogens. This is because the addition of H-X across a double bond proceeds through a carbocation intermediate. Is the major product from the hydroboration reaction the Markovnikov product or the non-Markovnikov product?

2) Discuss why hydroboration of 1-hexene provides the non-Markovnikov product and not the Markovnikov product. Contrast the major product of hydroboration (addition of H-OH) obtained in this experiment with the major product resulting from the addition of H-Br to 1-hexene?

Explain each and every step in detail. I need proficient help in the above problems.
