In this work, the optimization of the buspirone trans-dermal therapeutic system was satisfactory and performed by Box-Behnken design. The response surface methodology and contour plot allowed finding the optimum conditions for TTS preparation. The results demonstrated that the formulation was nonirritating and did not cause any erythyma upon transdermal administration.
