What statistical test would I run for the following example? A researcher is interested in the effects of the length of an exercise program on the flexibility of male and female students. The researcher randomly selects 24 male undergraduate students and randomly assigns them to one of three exercise programs. The training programs are one, two, and three weeks in length. The researcher also selects 24 female undergraduate students and assigns them to one of the same three exercise programs. At the end of the three programs, each subject's score on a flexibility measure is recorded. In this study, gender and length of the exercise program are the independent variables and the score on the flexibility measure is the dependent variable.
