Question
A compressor has one degree of freedom more than a pump because the fluid is compressible instead of incompressible. So for a pump we can use one independent variable and set up a feedback control loop using any of the following dependent variables: flow rate (either outlet or inlet, they are the same), inlet pressure or outlet pressure. Assume that you want to control a compressor using control valves on both the inlet and outlet lines. Using the standard ISA symbols, draw two viable feedback control loops, one for each control valve on the following diagram.

The question related to Mechanical Engineering and the question is about drawing outlet and inlet valves for a compressor for controlling compressor. The symbols have been drawn with standard ISA symbols.
