1. Search the Internet for specific careers that are associated with the career opportunity areas discussed in the (See career listed below). Discuss the characteristics of the careers that are of most interest to you.

2. Select one of the career opportunity areas discussed in the textbook. Prepare a career profile for a specific career that falls within the career opportunity area you selected. The career profile should include job description, required education specifications, required skill sets, salary range, FTEs, the name and contact information of the employing agency, and the name of a contact person in the employing agency's human resources department.

3. Use the safety and security survey instrument located below to assess an organization that falls within the career opportunity area you selected for task one. Provide a brief synopsis of the level of satisfaction achieved in each subsection of the assessment. Using what you learned throughout the course, prepare a statement that includes acknowledgment of the areas in which the organization received satisfactory scores on the safety and security evaluation and recommendations for further reducing threat and harm in the areas of the safety and security evaluation in which the organization scored unsatisfactory.
