Jalil, a minor, borrowed RM15,000 from Hans by executing a promissory note. Later, Jalil promised Sally,16 years of age, that he would marry her as soon as he returned from France after watching the EURO Football Final. Jalil went to France and returned to Malaysia having spent all the money he had borrowed from Hans. Both Hans and Sally sued Jalil to enforce their rights. Hans on promissor note and Sally for the breach of promise to marry.
