a) Consider the following definition of discrimination: Discrimination is the differential treatment of a person or a group of persons based on their race, ethnicity, religion, or sex. Provide two reasons why this is a bad definition and explain those reasons (you may use counterexamples* in your explanation).
b) Present one of the accounts we examined in class of why discrimination is wrong; next, provide an objection to this account.
c) "Facial Discrimination" refers to discriminatory acts against those perceived to be unattractive. How is facial discrimination like other types of discrimination, such as racial discrimination? How is it unlike other types of discrimination? Explain.
d) Do you think the law should protect employees from facial discrimination in hiring? Explain your answer.
