The proposal outline is the documentation of your research design. The research design needs to link the information or data that will be collected and analyzed to the research questions that will be studied. The research proposal outline should include the following:

  • Topic
  • Purpose statement
  • Problem statement
  • Research question
  • Literature review
  • Measurement and analysis approach

Use your class materials, text, and research to find examples of research proposal outlines. Once you have created an outline, create a PowerPoint presentation of 15-20 slides of your outline. Provide explanations of the outline in the speaker notes.
