Develop a computer program for the "Gear Transmission Systems" with consideration that each gear designer will have a different view as to what the most important design factors are.
The overall design objective is to produce a design which meets all technical requirements for performance and life, at the lowest lifetime cost.Options should be provided for the user to select certain design parameters. The program shall clearly indicate the compliance of the computed output with the standard.
All assumptions need to be clearly mentioned. The input to the program could include:
Number of teeth pinion and gearDiametral pitchMaterialTransmitted powerSpeedFactor of safetyReliabilityLoad characteristics and characteristics of support
You may need to include other operational input such as working temperature to determine the different factors.
The output of the program may contain but not limited to the followings:gear sizecontact ratiopitch line velocitytransmitted loadreal factor of safetyoverall factor of safetygearefficiencysliding velocitiesangle of approach and recessweight estimations, cost estimation (Not necessary to include if you don't have data)

The U-235 and U-238 masses in natural uranium are split between enriched and depleted streams as a result of an enrichment process. If the input masses and output enrichments are specified, mass conservation determines the maximum (i.e. zero-loss) qu..
The magnetic flux density within a bar of some material is 0.630 tesla at an Hfield of 5 X 105 A/m. Compute the following for this material: (a) the magnetic permeability, and (b) the magnetic susceptibility. (c) What type(s) of magnetism would you s..
Over time, coal slag will accumulate on the combustion side of the boiler tubes. This fouling processincreases the hot side resistance to Rt,h = 9 X 10-8 K/W.

Air is compressed adiabatically from p1 = 100 kPa, T1 = 300 K to p2 = 1500 kPa, v2 = 0.1227 m3 /kg. The air is then cooled at constant volume to T3 = 300 K. Assuming ideal gas behavior and neglecting kinetic and potential energies, calculate the work..
