Saturated steam at 2MPa flows in a 7.5 cm diameter pipe for a distance of 300m. The steam flow rate entering the pipe is 2500kg/hr. Due to heat loss from the pipe to the surrounding air (at 25 C) 20 kg/hr of condensate is formed in the pipe and removed at the end of the pipe. The remaining steam (2480 kg/hr) goes to a steam turbine that has an efficiency of 70% and a discharge pressure of 200KPa.
