Steam at 550 degree Celsius, 17.5 MPa enters the high-pressure turbine of an ideal reheat Rankine cycle. The steam exits the high-pressure turbine at 2 MPa, is reheated to 550 degree Celsius, and then expanded through a low-pressure turbine to 50 kPa. The steam mass flow rate is 50 kg/s. Determine the thermal efficiency of the cycle and net power output.
